REFERRAL PROGRAM
TechSouth is being redeveloped through a strategic alliance between the State of Ohio, the City of Columbus and TechSouth Development Co. LLC.
This is a critical economic recovery project funded with state, city and private dollars. The goal is to create as many new jobs as possible at
this location where 1,700 workers lost their jobs when Techneglas, a manufacturer of television tubes, shut down its operations several years ago.
In an effort to create jobs by attracting new businesses to buy buildings or lease space at this site, TechSouth Development Co. LLC is offering to pay referral fees to any party who can give us a lead that results in a deal. All you have to do is provide us with the name of a business (and the phone or email of a contact person there) and you can earn a referral fee equal to one-quarter (1/4) of a full real estate commission. If you represent the business or end user in the negotiations, we will pay you a full real estate commission in addition to the referral fee. As with any real estate commission, of course, no referral fees or commissions will be paid unless and until the deal closes.
To be eligible to earn a referral fee or commission, you must either (a) be a licensed real estate broker or salesperson or (b) work for a entity that holds a real estate license (for example, property management companies hold real estate licenses). If neither you nor your employer is licensed, we will not be able to pay you a referral fee under our program. In that case, however, given the public purpose of this project, we would urge you to call us with any information that you may have or have a licensed broker contact us with such information.
